The first Adventist Youth Exchange Event was hosted by Westpoint church on October 15, 2022. The exchange is a collaboration between Westpoint, Dandenong, Frankston, and Hughesdale, but it is open to anyone who wants to participate.
The leaders of the four churches initiated the program to solidify relationships and cultivate a culture of worship for all generations; however, since it is an AY program, praise and worship, icebreakers, and fellowship are predominantly led by the youth.
The goal is to encourage young people to serve, lead, establish new connections, and worship God in unity; so, afternoon AY Exchange events will be hosted every month on a rotating roster.
Highlights from the first program include improvised skits, call-and-response worship, and imaginative bible games. It was followed by a sumptuous dinner and a fun-filled social night!
Westpoint is grateful to everyone who supported the AY exchange program despite the flooding circumstances. All glory to God!
