Meeting People Where They Are: Christmas Cheer in Cobblebank

Saifoloi Lafaele

In December, members of the Emmanuel Community Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church brought the spirit of Christmas to life with three evenings of carolling at Cobblebank Village Shopping Centre.

Whether it was 'Silent Night', 'Feliz Navidad', or 'Away in a Manger', the joyful melodies of traditional and contemporary carols filled the air, drawing smiles from shoppers and fostering a sense of community.

The story of Jesus' birth embodies love, humility, and the promise of new beginnings, which can inspire individuals. So, we are grateful for the range of volunteers who contributed to sharing the message of Christ's love through music and connection!

Alongside the carols, volunteers further connected with the community by gifting free copies of "Discover Jesus,” providing a means to learn about our Saviour and His love beyond song.

The event was a resounding success, inspiring plans for more outreach activities in the coming year.
