AdventCare Whitehorse is looking for full and part time Chaplains to cover 1.4 EFT.

The Chaplains are responsible for the coordination of all things related to the spiritual care of the residents, their families and staff of the AdventCare facility at Nunawading in Victoria. This embraces organising the Chaplaincy Programs which focus on the religious needs and aspects of the residents’ requirements.
What you need to bring:
- Demonstrated experience in church ministry, with a strong commitment to practicing the Seventh-day Adventist philosophy.
- Preferable experience in residential aged care.
- Ability to provide pastoral care to residents, families, and staff, ensuring their spiritual and religious needs are met.
- Good administrative skills.
- Ability to fulfil the role including:
- Welcome and assist new residents to settle into their new environment.Visit and support unwell residents within the home and hospital.
- Represent the organisation at residents’ funeral services.
- Conduct regular worships for residents and staff.
- Oversee a Chaplaincy Program that is spiritually uplifting for all residents.
- Coordinate visits from external religious leaders.
- Coordinate worship programs.
- Maintain a directory of external religious and spiritual leaders. Maintain a religious library for residents. Work effectively as a team member. Keep accurate records of all visitations that are in line with the policy and procedures.
