ADRA assists in Coles & SecondBite Winter Appeal Launch

On 22 June, Coles and SecondBite launched their new Winter Appeal campaign as the need for food relief increases across the country. The funds raised from this years Winter Appeal will go to SecondBite so they can continue providing food in the form of cooked meals, food hampers and community pantries for those in need.
SecondBite has partnered with ADRA in Victoria to distribute food to our 30 centres across Victoria. With the help of SecondBite thousands of people in our community will have access to food. Hosted at Nunawading Seventh-day Adventist Church, more than 10 ADRA clients and volunteers were invited to be involved in filming for the Coles and SecondBite Winter Appeal campaign for Channel 7 and 9. Breakfast was served by our ADRA volunteers and with the help of celebrity MasterChef Curtis Stone. This was an incredible opportunity to raise awareness about the work that ADRA does to help those in the community who are struggling.
